This week’s Adventure Profile guest is someone who is near and dear to my heart…my mama. Awwww! When I still just a zygote, my mother was hard at work creating her first baby, Rosanna Inc. What began as an enterprise to import hand-painted Italian ceramics to the US has since blossomed into an internationally-acclaimed fashion tableware company. I think J. Lo even has some of my mom’s dishes. I don’t know if you know this but she (my mother, not J. Lo) is kind of a big deal. She’s even writing a book. And we’re both going to be on the cover. Oh my God. Look for our faces in a bookstore near you next January. Martha, move OVER. In related news, Rosanna Inc. just launched it’s 3rd annual tablesetting contest. Interested in entering? Read the rules at my mom’s blog, Rosanna’s Table Talk. Also check out her motivational message to contestants.

I was a sales rep for a company that rep’d Rossana Inc for about year and it was by far my favorite line to sell (one of the easiest as well!). I really enjoyed talking to my customers about the crazy new ideas that were coming up, and about the company itself. It was something you could really believe in and get behind, hard to find in the sales world. Not only because of the visual delights, but because there was such a strong woman behind the scenes. Great profile choice adventurers!

HA! I totally knew that you did that! Those were the amazing red bowls you had in college right?! Everyone was eating ramen and mac out of the most beautiful tableware while drinking their natural ice!!! Love it! A totally classy hostess even in your nascent home-making years!

Wow, I love Rosanna’s motto. Savor Life. Create Traditions. I am working on that. It feels like a breath of air to think about.
