Went to Henry Art Gallery today to see the Kader Attia show. One piece in particular totally rules! And that piece is Ghost. I had an amazingly visceral reaction. Personally, that is much more satisfying for me than an intellectual or decorative appreciation for a work. Go see it! And call me if you start crying or feeling like getting sick because then we are birds of a feather who should flock together to some more art shows around town. Ghost is ghastly, ghostly, disturbing, pretty and monument-y. Leave a Reply |
