            It is a very far drive from San Diego to Chicago. Obviously, I would need to tag a long when my friend Mandy decided to move from San Diego to Chicago. After all, I love the USA and I need to see it every so often to remember that the USA is more than just a collection of bunk foreign policies and jerks. It is actually a breathtaking beauty full of great people. So we set off from San Diego. First stop, Blizzards in Barstow, can’t road trip through 100 degree heat without at least a Blizzard per state. First real stop, Lake Havasu City. We rambled into Lake Havasu, stopped at a local grocer and said “Where’s the beach?”. We picknicked and then hopped in the Lake for some swimming. Party Barges-A-Go-Go. But this crew was on a mission, hopped back in the car and camped in Kingman, Arizona. Here’s a lesson for ya, “DON’T SLEEP ANYWHERE NEAR THE MOJAVE”. Big Mistake, blazin’ hot then freezin’. Not a good look.
