Last night we hosted a Welcome Party for our newest French friends, Morgane and Josselyn! It was really fun. We served French cheese, Nicoise olives, French Toast and baguettes. But the main course consisted of American hamburgers straight off of the grill! Dish delish! Other American food bits consumed included delicious Beecher’s cheese and Pike Brewing Company beers, Washington Hills wine in a box and good old fashioned Apple Pie straight from that bastion of Americana, Costco. Don’t worry all of the food was marked with tiny flags indicating country of origin. Thanks to everyone who attended. See you in Paris for the next edition of, “We are all red, white, and blue here”.
