An awesome video about an awesome person’s music photography retrospective! We were more than proud to be a part of Show Me Your TIFFS by the indomitable Jenny Jiménez! show me your tiffs: 10 years of music photography by jenny jiménez from Patrick Wright on Vimeo. Big ups to Patrick Wright, one of our very favorite adventurers! Last week we were lucky enough to work with some of our all-time favorites on the opening party for ‘Show Me Your Tiffs: 10 Years of Music Photography by Jenny Jiménez’. We were pumped to have been asked to celebrate the enchanting and talented Jenny Jiménez (and her photos!). The always sensational Patrick Wright filmed the party for posterity. Here is his first outtake; featuring comic relief by the singular and soulful, Damien Jurado, who is not only one of the subjects of the show but also performed at the opening. Stay tuned for more video footage of Show Me Your Tiffs! And go see Jenny’s work at Skylark Cafe. It will be up until December 14th. show me your tiffs: outtake from Patrick Wright on Vimeo. Meet Jenny Jiménez, sweetheart of The Adventure School and one helluva photographer. The secret ingredients that give Jenny’s photos that extra oomph is a sense of humor and talent for capturing real, unconventional moments rather than canned, stage-y poses. If you like Jenny’s work as much as we do, swing by Jenny’s show, Show Me Your TIFFS, this Thursday featuring some clever specialty cocktails for those of us with the right initials: Double D (i.e. Dorcas Doolittle), Double J (i.e. Jenny Jiménez!), and Double You (i.e. Barbie Babbit or MitcheLL, KnoxviLLe.) Identification courteously requested. Oh, and there’s also gonna be a wet t-shirt contest. Yeeeeeeeeah! Check out the rest of Jenny’s excellent portfolio on her website and keep up with her comings and goings on her blog. But first, read her Adventurer Profile!
