If you haven’t already noticed, we’ve been spending a lot of time pumping up for the Cal Anderson 4th of July picnic by featuring the various bands and vendors you’ll see there on our blog. We also want to give a shout out to some of the event’s co-sponsors. What up, Sustainable Capitol Hill!

These guys can hook you in to a network of resources to help you live more sustainably, whether that means starting a compost pile at home or learning exactly which items can and cannot be recycled.  The site also has a some mega helpful lists that give advice on how to live and work more sustainably.

It goes without saying that Sustainable Capitol Hill is an extremely community-oriented organization committed to perpetuating the things about Capitol Hill that we all know and love (creative small businesses, artsy people, fresh eats,  and locally-centered cultural events).

They’ll at the park on the 4th educating people on how to recycle properly.  Make sure you stop by and say hello!
